Left wingtip pointing towards the rising sun masked by a layer os cirrostratus clouds. A320 CS-TNH on the early morning flight from Munich to Lisbon. By now we are in the cruise at FL390, most of the 92 customers on board are fast asleep and we are 3 tons lighter than at the departure gate.

Hi Patchwork. Like any thing else, an aiplane needs energy to do what it does. In its case, the energy comes from the fuel it burns and I can tell you that jet engines burn alot of it. At the point where we were in the "pic" we had already burned about..3 tons of fuel. Thanks for your visit! Mathieu
