Mackerel Skies

 These altocumulus clouds arranged in a wavelike pattern reminded me of the expression "Mackerel Skies" used by Gavin Pretor-Pinney in his book "The Cloudspotters Guide". In the book he is on a mission to find just the right fish, one with the same wavelike pattern on its skin.
