Sundogs
The optical phenomenon called "parhelia" more commonly known as Sundogs consists of points of light that appear on either side of the sun 22 degrees away from it. In this case, an aircraft contrail's visible moisture makes the sundog stand out.

Another strange but beautiful phenomenon of nature, somewhat similar to the famous Sprites.
