Extraordinary sunset captured while flying between a layer of altocumulus and one of stratocumulus. In the words of Gavin Pretor-Pinney from the Cloud Appreciation Society: "What, after all, is a sunset without the clouds? A bright ball disappearing behind a line, thats what" . We were descending towards Copenhagen in A319 CS-TTB .
I'll be flying to Copenhagen next December. Maybe you'll be the pilot.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are very beautiful. They almost make me forget how much discomfort flying causes me.
Sublime!!
